On Caitra Śukla Pratipadā, the very day on which the cosmos is said to have begun, as recorded in the Brahma Purāṇa, Bhārata celebrates the New Year across dozens of traditions: Yugādi, Ugādi, Gudi Padwā, Puṭṭaṇṭu, Navreh, Nyepī, Viṣu, Baisākhī and more. This workshop unlocks the spiritual, astronomical, and dhārmika depth behind these celebrations, equipping participants to observe Yugādi rituals with understanding, and to pass that understanding to the next generation.
